LOVE Joan of Arc ... was just listening to it yesterday on the plane. Wish she would do a finished version of that on an upcoming release.

I agree... it was practically finished as it was... probably needed some background vocals from Christine and Lindsey but it was pretty much a completed song... surprised it didn't at least make a b-side... maybe she wouldn't let them do that... I wish it could be revamped a little more modern but keeping the dark undertones... would be so cool!

Yes, especially considering what DID make it on that album.  Joan of Arc was better than than all of her songs on that album except probably Seven Wonders.  Stronger vocals too.

As time goes by, I find myself really loving Tango. That lp has a whole vibe of its own, and the songs stand up after all these yrs. My only complaint would be not enough Stevie, but I made myself a alternative lp using the outtakes and demos. For instance Joan of Arc, Juliet (Book of Miracles), alternate version of When I see you again, etc. Its to bad Lindsey didnt tour behind it, it makes me wonder what the live set would of been like. As far as Stevies dark songs, Sisters of the moon and Doing the best that I can.
