I would definitely say either TOSOTM or BTM to go... both are AWFUL and worse than RAL in my opinion...

I liked her RAL hair.. it matched her cocaine personality... WILD!

TOSOTM and BTM are just awful to me because it's almost like she didn't look at herself well before either leaving her house or going onstage or sitting in front of a camera for an interview... it's a hot mess...

I am very suprised that TOSOTM is #1.  (Thats what i voted)  cause i see alot of people that luvved her hair in the 80's.  I never cared for it.  I've sported a long 70's shag since the 70's.  That mah fav.

I like her hair now. "This is a lotta work" - she said CBS Sunday Morning Interview.

I can't believe every single vote here isn't for "The Dance" hair.

I like The Dance hair because at the time, it was such a huge improvement over the Street Angel crimping

I detest the curly Tango tour hair, the baby doll hair. I cringe and cringe.

The Dance isn't the same style as it is now...

The Dance

In Your Dreams

It is a LOT more wavy now and is overall a better style... and a different shade...

I just love Stevie with curls and flair. Her hair looks healthy, shiny, soft and she looks decades younger when there is curl or waves. There was nothing sexy about the Dance except for the 5 seconds at the end of Sweet Girl where she winks at someone in the audience. I was like "there's my girl!". I know there is lighting tricks and whale bone corsets involved, but Live in Chicago looks like it was filmed a decade before the Dance -- she got sexy again. Ditto for the Wiltern show.

To me it's the same cut  Long, no layers with bangs.  Bangs can be blown back, can be straight, wavy, curly.  At the beginning of the dance it is not blown back.   I had the same style for years, before she did.   Now back to my 70's shag.
