Not to knock anyones product, but personally I've always found these boots to be sort of "off" in Stevie-style. Or maybe I'm just always extra picky when it comes to Stevie-style clothes, boots, and things. To me the whole base of the shoe seemed off and the heel a bit curved when it doesn't have to be. And like others have said, you can find (somewhat) similar platform style boots today in stores and online, but never nothing really as high as what Stevie wears esp in platform height. And don't get me started on those awful Louboutin boots with the hideous bright red clashing bottoms. For women if they know where to look, they can have a custom Stevie-like boot made for about 300.00 and for me they would run about 450.00. I was always skiddish paying for ones costing 800.00 given theres so many shady sellers online plus the fact in 5 years I've never actually seen even the diehard Stevie boot fanatics in a pair of these wanting to show them off being proud.
