It made me cry a little when I first read it... Barbara was the same age as my grandfather.. well, he would have been 84 but he died in 2008.  He also had emphysema really bad and that is what eventually got him when he developed lung cancer from having an occupation where he was surround by asbestos.  He also smoked since he was a young teenager but quit when he found out he had emphysema.  If only Barbara would have quit smoking too then she might have beat the pneumonia.  I often wonder if Stevie still smokes or just on occasion...

Many people in my family, friends, and co-workers had/have pneumonia this winter.  I only just read about Stevie's mother just now, it's always sad when someone must go.
