This has to be one of the most important years in Stevie's life.

The BAD things:
1. The death of Stevie's mom, Barbara
2. Cancelling promotional appearances when the album dropped due to pneumonia.
3. The lack of airplay for In Your Dreams singles.
4. A tour and record that should of done better based on the quality.

The GOOD Things:
1. A solo album that is definitely her most critically acclaimed since Bella Donna and maybe ever.
2. She is a legend and if any year cemented this, it was this year: Her appearance on Oprah, Dancing with the Stars, The Voice.
3. The video of Stevie singing Soldiers Angel during a major storm, and in the wind, is one of the most iconic things she has ever done. If only people saw it.
4. Glee - Fleetwood Mac sales went through the roof world wide. All the members should be thanking Stevie for getting their music on Glee.
5. She seemed happy with the product she put out and discovered there were new ways of writing: it wasn't all on her shoulders.

Anyone have anything else to add....

Some more bad:

1. Not releasing the In Your Dreams DVD documentary the same day as the album... it could have made more sales possible.
2. Choosing the wrong songs for singles.  Maybe she has nothing to do with this, but I think she has a little to do with it.
3. No real tour promotion ever really mentioned in a lot of the interviews on television, just the album.  It led to some half packed venues.
4. Truncating some of her best known songs live and having much of the same boring set-list and no rare gems from the past.

Good:

1. Looking and sounding more energized and smiling a lot more.  You can tell she loves her new material.
2. Has been seen in a lot of different things on television not just having to do with her songs or work.
3. Has been consistent with putting out wonderful atmospheric music videos for her singles.
4. Has the best hairstyle she has had in years - kind of funny to say, but I really love it.
5. Being a trooper during her spell of pneumonia and still performing on television (Ellen)
