We should just get rid of some portions of the board because a lot of the areas have bombed... one portion hasn't been posted in for over a year...so sad.. the Chit Chat thread used to be so lively... and The Vault... I just ran out of stuff to share since everyone pretty much has what everyone else has...

Stevie Nicks Official Site has never had a thread started in it... nor Mick Fleetwood or Lindsey Buckingham...

Fleetwood Mac Official Site hasn't been posted in for 2 1/2 years...

Unleashed has been over with as well as This Is Not A Tour and Heart & Soul...

The most logged on for the whole day that I have seen lately has been less than 80 with probably 1/2 to 3/4 always being guests...

I know this because the number of members for the whole day who have signed on has been 20 or less for the last few months... 

We need to find a way to invite people here... I know some snarky people are on here and that is anywhere you go... (makes the world go round) ...but I really miss coming on here and having countless threads to read... on Facebook it all gets mixed up and you have to dig to read stuff and it's so unorganized...

Maybe for 2012 the site could undergo a facelift?  Just a suggestion....

I'm on this board and The Ledge, and I actually like the people on this board the best. I've had my run-ins with people on here, but not as much as on the Ledge, with some of their immature moderators. However, when Stevie's new album was coming down the pike, this place fealt like a graveyard. I started spending a lot of time on The Ledge and hardly any on here. It's more populated and there is action. I think that this place needs more advertising.

I admire the fact that this board ran a contest for Stevie's album and did more things for Stevie than the ledge. I think more people who don't like Stevie are on The Ledge. It's more international! Hence, more people. There are lots of Australians and British people on there. I definitely think we need to get more people from outside the United States on this site. (The only place Crystal Visions has went gold is Australia.)

Just saying...

FB has numerous Stevie Sites and there all pretty nuch the same with the exception of the Song/Media swap one.

I miss it when this board was active.  I thought everyone went to facebook.  I'm with Jondalar. I went to the Ledge because it's where there was still discussion...

I used to visit everyday, but it seems dead.  No one posts anything anymore.  It's a ghost site.  You would think with the new album and so much media, we've have tons to discuss.  Not even Barbara's passing has gotten much attention.

I think the last time the board underwent a "facelift" was 3 or 4 years ago... but not sure exactly...

I do realize that a lot of people left during that whole "banning" spree when Brian Webster was the administrator...

I don't recall what happened because I wasn't around as much back then but I know that some people still take it to heart and are bitter.  I often wonder what happened to people who used to have thousands of posts... like Becky... I haven't heard from her on here in ages.. is she ok?  Does anyone know?  Everyone just seemed to have vanished into thin air.  The Chit Chat section is dead... every part of this board is dead now except Stevie Nicks and occasionally Fleetwood Mac and Music...

I am anticipating Sandor's response to all of this and seeing what ideas he might have...

Come and join us... The more the merrier. Facebook can be fun but it often gets unorganized and it makes it hard to find stuff. Also, other message boards have mean people who tend to form cliques and packs... I know that there are people like that on every board, but Seven Wonders is not as full of them. We are a group of people who love talking about Stevie and FM and we would like to see it grow and flourish.

and to jeremy. that's the trouble. no one really knows anyone here. so it becomes endless ramblings and opinions. facebook is where it all is. everything you need to know. and yes it's ''unorganized'' but only as far as it's stream of consciousness. at least it's easier to compact it and you can choose where to go. i say simplify as much as you can and offer incentives that simple posting on facebook can't offer. otherwise it's just a daunting overwhelming task to come back here. go thru all the dead threads to find a few kernels of goodness.
hi dee! i do miss you. and some others. and some i don't miss at all!!delete at facebook rocks!! and i miss using my banner and avatar and giving so much of my opinions. i will always love this site. it was so good for so long.
jeremy love that remix. any vocal takes you working on? another thing i miss the random genius. i would never have heard that although you are one of my 700 or so friends at fb. anyway, i love you guys. and i mourn the changes. but INEVITABLE!

I really like this forum, it's the first one that I had come accross for FM and SN and I have always felt that it was friendly here.  It's also where I first discovered the treasure trove of demos, outtakes, alternate versions etc. of my fave band and singer SN.  So I am very loyal to this board and hope activity picks up too!
