i.m.o. their silence speaks volumes, and it is clearly silence, i.m.o.  Often in the past when various things have gone down, John has chosen "Name That Song" lyrics which are clearly related to what's going on - seems pretty clear that the quote he posted from "The Chain" is about as far removed from doing that as possible.  In my opinion, they're sort of saying 'in between their lines, "We have NO comment at this time."

I was just confused. Who was telling who? That they wished to be left the f alone?? Did her or her people actually post something like that to the fans, I mean I know some fans can be a little pushy/nutty but geez. Someone please clarify.

 Oh I see then... I was gonna say. That was my guess, that someone was posting stuff on there or something, pretending. Something said like that would've been awful to the fans and so rude which was what was shocking.

  Sorry, I really did think it would be clear that it was made up and what was meant by it.  I was simply trying to use Stevie's well-known line "No one knows how I feel, or what I mean unless you read between my lines" lyric to illustrate that it seemed to me that Nicksfix's silence on it "seemed to speak volumes" all by itself.

Well, at any rate Nicksfix has now posted an official obituary announcement.  Turns out that she was involved with quite a few charities, including several that I don't believe Stevie has mentioned or been connected publicly with such as the Salvation Army.

Anyway, again, sorry for the confusion or misunderstanding.

Very sad for Stevie and her family. No doubt Stevie does want privacy at this time to be with the ones closest to she and her Mom. Even so, I just couldn't see Stevie telling fans to "f" off, so, I'm glad that has been cleared up.

I do imagine that she is getting flooded with mail and her "people" are getting flooded with emails and stuff...
