The Grammy's are all music poltics-bull shit. There is no reason Stevie shouldnt have gotten at least one damn nom.

I hate to say I wasn't surprised.  I agree though that the nods for Nicki Manaj and Kanye are sooo WTF?!!  They are trash.  I had a little beam of hope for Stevie, since she was nominated for TISL.  The Grammy's are all based on public eye/increasing popularity bulls&@!.

I hated Nicki from the start... and even more when she started crying because of Lil Wayne going to jail and saying how wonderful he is and a genius... WHATEVER... its all crap music to me... especially Kanye.. It doesn't take a genius to make some beats and a cool track... I do it all the time.. If I was able to make rhymes about drugs, sex, racial slurs, how hard life is/was, money and the ghetto...nudging my way into other people's songs and music videos for a presence, and had hours to sit down and make myself sound better through auto-tune and recording different parts at different times with software until it all sounded perfect then pasting it all together, would I be a genius too?

Read RS mag. interview with him this year.   Everyother word outa his mowf was nigga this, niga that, nigga nigga nigga.  But when he was asked bout others calling him that, he wasn't too hip to it.  Very ungrateful for what he has.  Hell, they all are.  Grateful I was born in 64 and got to appreciate the music heard on the radio.  Cause kids growin up today have nuthin cool to lsten too.   I would hate that the songs of my life were all done in rap or techno.   Wanna know the best thing about pushing 50 is?  I got to see ALL the badass concerts.

I am very thankful that my mom has good taste in music other than not liking Stevie or FM lol.. I used to play her records and 45s all the time... I was brought up with 60s music and 70s... I don't mind some techno songs but a lot of them sound like crap!  My mom is pushing 60 and she still plays the 60s station on her radio and I listen to it with her and know about 90% of the songs by heart... I missed out on some of the 80s stuff because she would only listen to the adult contemporary stuff like Phil Collins and stuff like that but I still love it.. Only when I got to be in my teens in the 90s did I really discover 80s and late 70s music.. I would take that over anything new hands down... I can't stand songs that say "Shorty" or "Shawty" or "Nigga" or "Playa" ... no thanks... And I guess I might have Bieber fever because he and his music make me ill... Laugh  He says "Shawty" a lot and it isn't sending a good message across to kids...Ebonics and bad grammar just don't do a thing for me... I guess he wants to be ghetto?
