Not much to say bout this! cept it's bullchit. How can you can so many great reviews of a record not get a nomination? I have never heard of some of the crap nominated. Music has been in a downward spiral for years. This just shows that it hasn't changed.

I was really bummed. I watched the Grammy concert last night and really hoped I'd see Stevie's name mentioned. Then this morning I went to the website to see all the nominations and nothing for Stevie. Very dissapointed.

I don't care for awards shows either. They give out awards for absolute crap these days! Stevie's always been No1 to me and that's all that really matters. ...to me, anyway.
...Track a ghost through the fog!

was reading how the voting goes: NARAS members do not receive nominated recordings. At least at the oscars they supply to voters a dvd of the what tey are voting on. I think Maynard of Tool summed it up: I think the Grammys are nothing more than some gigantic promotional machine for the music industry. They cater to a low intellect and they feed the masses. They don't honor the arts or the artist for what he created. It's the music business celebrating itself.

The Grammies long ago stopped being about actual talent and musicality ... it's all about what nominees will get you the biggest ratings so you can charge the most in advertising dollars.
I'll smoke a cock, fuck it.
Fighting on Twitter/Facebook? Seriously? What happened to just cutting a bitch in person?
