WTF?  I see nothing but nopes... this is sad... what about Moonlight or Ghosts Are Gone?

It is 10 years ago all over again.. will never forget Lucinda Williams' "Get Right With God" beat Stevie Nicks' "Planets of the Universe"...  how many disses can Stevie stand?

Soldier's Angel wasn't a single.. was it?

Well I hope the sympathy card about her age and tenure in the business will be played...

GIVE THE WOMAN A GRAMMY ALREADY!!!

6 decades in the music industry has to be worth something...

4 decades of solo material

As much as I love Secret Love, I can't see any songwriter getting a grammy for "oooeee listen to me"

I agree with you all.  As AMAZING as this album is and I'm a massive fan of all her solo work, I would NOT have submitted Soldiers Angel, though I do respect why it was probably entered; it is so special and close to her & I do love it.
The severity of the song is immense.

What the hell happened to Moonlight being nominated?? LOL   I think she has the best chances of winning for best album or For What it's Worth...since it's so amazing...oh, wait...it wasn't nominated either?? LOL  AAARG!!!

I think she might have had 17 nominations and won 1 (2 really because Rumours she would have gotten one as one of the artist and one of the producers).

here is a link for all the past songs of the year. Not seeing "secret love" here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_for_Song_of_the_Year

But I do see it as a possible ALBUM OF THE YEAR Nod.

I know she deserves so many awards, but i don't care for them. she has proved that real music last forever. Those awards aren't about music anymore.I really feel it all under the table when it comes to who wins.Look at Stevie career...there is no award out there good enough.

Rightee-oooo  on that one.   in my opinion the state of music sux right now.  Rap? Is music??  This electro voice crap,  maybe they need to learn to sing on key.  Thats waht its used for.   60's, 70's, 80's and partly 90's music was great.   My hubby & I have been working musicians for over 40 yrs.  When we look for new songs to learn we pull from the old stuff.   I just baught the new Tedecshi/Trucks CD.  Awesomeness,  but I have always loved blues music.

I can see her being nominated for album of the year.  She has worked hard promoting it, even though there wasn't much airplay.  I doubt if she would win, but I can see her being nominated.  It would be wonderful if she is nominated.
