OKay so this is a LONG story but I will keep it as short as I can...
A couple Sunday's ago my mom and her bf were chillen in the garage having coffee and talking...and I guess all of sudden my mom has a seizure(for the first time). He called 911 and she came to as they got there, but they still brought her to the hospital(we have one in town) and they did a CT Scan and found a mass in her frontal lobe...So they transferred her to UMASS Memorial(in Worcester) to have more tests done. SO I went home as they were transferring her to get some stuff and I picked up Ashley to come with me. So we get there and we're in the ER for like ever waiting to get a room...and I was scared to leave the room incase someone cme in to talk to my mom.
So later that night they transferred my mom to her room and stuff. I went home around 10 because Ashley had class the next day. They did an MRI and EKG in the wee hours of the morning. I had a part 2 interview at a salon that day so I did that then went to the hospital and the Dr's said its a "Menigioma" which is a mostly benign mass. My mom was discharged that day.
Last week we met with a Neuro Surgeon to talk about surgery. My mom has her surgery scheduled for October 5th. We know the time and stuff the day before. Needless to say I am SCARED!!! They say its an easy surgery since its between the skull and brain(and not IN the brain). She'll be in the hospital for 3 days and then laid up for 4 weeks. I'll most likely be staying at the hospital over night those 3 days.
So please keep my mom in your thoughts(and prayers)
