I did some research it read because of
"Unborn Child"
(Lyrics by Lana Bogan; music by James Seals, 1974)
Oh little baby, you'll never cry, nor will you hear a sweet lullabye.

Oh unborn child, if you only knew just what your momma was plannin' to do.
You're still a-clingin' to the tree of life, but soon you'll be cut off before you get ripe.
Oh unborn child, beginning to grow inside your momma, but you'll never know.
Oh tiny bud, that grows in the womb, only to be crushed before you can bloom.

Mama stop! Turn around, go back, think it over.
Now stop, turn around, go back, think it over.
Stop, turn around, go back think it over.

Oh no momma, just let it be. You'll never regret it, just wait and see.
Think of all the great ones who gave everything
That we might have life here, so please bear the pain.

Mama stop! Turn around, go back, think it over.
Now stop, turn around, go back, think it over.
Stop, turn around, go back think it over.

They were droped in 1980 as  a duo.

that's my most favorite of the three albums i bought of theirs when they came out. each album becoming progressively better for me. SUMMER BREEZE with the amazing HUMMINGBIRD on it. DIAMOND GIRL with title track, RUBY JEAN AND BILLIE LEE and WE MAY NEVER PASS THIS WAY(AGAIN) and then the stellar all the way thru masterpiece of UNBORN CHILD which has amazing cover art and i have yet to find it on cd. by 75 i had moved on. they had hits after that with  outside songs like I'LL PLAY FOR YOU and GET CLOSER but it wasn't the same for me. they did come to my town that year and we were up front. jim seals gave my sister who was on her future husbands shoulders his violin bow. then they invited anyone who wanted to stay after the show and talk to them about their BA'HAI religion. only a few of us stayed and it was nice. jim's brother went on to huge crossover success with not only ENGLAND DAN AND JOHN FORD COLEY but as a solo country artist, DAN SEALS. jim and dash had been at it for a long time before they hit the big time with SUMMER BREEZE and they were so spiritual and down to earth i believe they took their success and then their decline all in stride.
