To all of my 7 Wonders friends and family.  On Friday April 22 my Mom will be undergoing surgery for Colon Cancer.   This all has come on very suddenly, and it has been overwhelming for the last few weeks.  It definitely wasn't something any of us had any clue about, but I thank God and the Universe for the events that led up to this discovery, bringing hope to a situation that many of you have experienced with your own friends, family and neighbors.  I simply ask that you keep our family in your good thoughts and prayers during this emotional time.  I will keep everybody updated as much as I can, if not personally...via other family members and friends.  Thank you... on behalf of my family...and God Bless each and every one of you.

Hi guys...  I wanted to update everybody on my moms surgery.  She was in about 5 hours, with 2 in recovery.  They were able to do the laprascopy so that took longer than the inscision.  The doctor told us he was positive they got it all removed, and today they removed the tube down her throat.  She also got to eat some jello - and have 7UP.  I talked to her today [ we have had one storm after another with road closures, im going to go see her Monday  again. ]  She sounded more herself.  So I wanted to thank everybody for their kind words, thoughts and prayers they sent.  It meant the world.
