What the Heck is REALLY Going On in the Middle East lately???

cnn.com just did a story that included a map that really got my attention.
Not like I didn't have a clue already, but when you see it, it's really striking.
The area where there's protests now is TRULY massive; and includes almost
every Arabic country except for Saudi Arabia.  I feel there's several obvious
questions that haven't really been answered; and I'd love to throw them out
there to get everyone's thoughts:


The most obvious one is, Why now?  SURE, sure, Facebook "caused" this, it started in Tunisia and spread to Egypt and onward but - that's not a root cause.  Why now?

What and who is really behind this?

Why has it spread so rapidly, like wildfire in a gasoline-soaked woods?

What exactly (really...) is The Muslem Brotherhood?  Who are they really,
and what is their agenda? 

How is all this going to pan out?

Please add any other questions that occur to you, as well.

...This could get REALLY interesting!

i hope what pans out is true democracy which the people say they want and not more corrupt government. america and it's allies should stay out of everyone's affairs. all the things we did in iraq may be for nothing when all is said and done.

Hadn't caught that, no.  Scary concept, though.

But with Facebook, I've seen a lot of the "talking heads"
debating how much of a role it might or might not have
played in starting all of this.

As a matter of fact though -

There's been some speculation (and apparently some evidence) that it's actually
Israeli Intelligence that's behind all of this.  Which makes sense when 'ya think
about it - plus, I've heard that in reality they're actually much better than the
U.S. is at this sort of thing.  At that, and at Special Forces, with the possible
exception of Delta Force.

So I wonder when the news outlets are going to
get around to bluntly stating that an all-out civil
war has broken out in Libya?
