Well, here is what happened...I didn't see the show--but I talked to her brother and he told me that they didn't even platy her audition or her singing at all on TV!! She made it past some 5,000 people at the Rosebowl and then made two more "cuts" to make it into the top 40..That's pretty impressive don't you think? I would thnk that would warrant at least 5 seconds of fame on national TV....But they just blew it off. She did however, just get signed to a label...So I guess she's not crying about it. xoxo michelle

I'm not going, but I hope someone who does goes tapes Carly covering Evanescence's Bring Me To Life and posts it on Youtube! I was excited when I heard she was doing that song on the tour.  Almost made me want to go, but I just can't afford anything extra at this point...so my summer concerts are looking bleak.

I know I'm starting early, but in one week (Jan 13), I will lose rational thought. In one week, my every waking hour will be completely engrossed in the minutiae of American Idol-dom. So I thought I'd set up this thread in case any other Fleetwood Mac fans catch the show and feel like sharing their thoughts as the season progresses. Although I've been known to end friendships over American Idol, I will try to remain on my best behavior. Opening topic: I actually think it would be cool (and smart) if Fleetwood Mac would use the show to promote their tour, Rumours rerelease by guest mentoring a Fleetwood Mac theme night.

I usually watch a bit of the first tryouts and then ther finale, i can do without the fluff in the middle!
